As we knew the project we are going to carry out, there're lots need to discuss and decide. Group 3 contains of 30 people and it's definitely a huge group and it can be quite challenging to manage. We were further divided into 3 groups which are wall, flooring, window&door team. And I am in the team who will be designing the wall . As the study room is meant for children, thus the design of the wall is crucial as it set the tone and ambience of the library. If we are successful in making the library a pleasant and attractive place to be, it will help in attracting them in coming to the library to study and learn. As community service initiative if one of our UCM this semester, we, as an degree pursuer are obliged to take this course. Our mission of this time is to renovate and repair one library located in an orang asli's kampung at Serendah, Selangor. It's always good to give back to the society as we have the responsibility to take care of the minority as well. Below are some photos of the library where we are going carry out our task. Here is the main entrance of the library, which is in disrepair in the photo and it's definitely needs to be renovated for a better environment for studying. The dimension of this library is 108000(W) x 7300(D) x 3500(H) mm. The exterior needed to be clean up as well.
